The Chairman determined that no one else wished to be heard and thereupon closed the public hearing. ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by Com- missioner Bowman, the Board unanimously adopted Resolution 90-50 amending Resolution 82-51 to increase the franchise fees to 6% for Treasure Coast Refuse Corporation. RESOLUTION NO. 90-50 A.RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION 82-51, AS AMENDED BY RESOLUTIONS 86-23, 86-31, 86-114, 87-48, AND 88-107, WHICH NEW AMENDMENT WILL INCREASE FRANCHISE FEES TO SIX PERCENT FOR TREASURE COAST REFUSE CORPORATION, AND REQUIRE FRANCHISE PAYMENTS TO BE MADE ON A QUARTERLY BASIS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY FLORIDA that, effective with the next billing cycle, Treasure Coast Refuse Corporation shall pay to the County six percent (6%) of gross revenues per fiscal year as a franchise fee for its operation in Indian River County. Payment shall be paid to the County on a quarterly basis, and shall be shown as a separate additional charge on customers' bills. The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner Scurlock , who moved its adoption.
