Mascola, CPO Manager <br />Division of Purchasing <br />SUBJ: IRC BID #90-63 Portable Waste Tub Grinder <br />On request from the Solid Waste Department the bid for Portable Waste Tub <br />Grinder was properly advertised and Three (3) Invitations to Bid <br />were sent out. On April 11, 1990 bids were received. Two (2) vendors <br />submitted proposals for the commodity. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />Staff has reviewed the submittal to ascertain adherence to specifications. <br />Fuel Harvesters Equipment was the low bidder that met all requirements. <br />FUNDING: <br />Monies for this project will come from Solid Waste Funds, Heavy Equipment <br />which has a budget of $150,000.00. <br />.RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends the Award of a Fixed Contract for $139,630.00 to the low <br />bidder, Fuel Harvesters EgUpmnt for the subject project. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Chairman Eggert being absent) approved the award of a <br />fixed contract for $139,630 to the low bidder, Fuel <br />Harvesters Equipment for the subject project, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />10 <br />
