I understand that the final <br />request for payment for FY89-90 grant funds must be submitted no <br />later than November 30, 1990. <br />REPORT ON MEETING WITH DCA IN TALLAHASSEE <br />Chairman Eggert reported that she, Administrator Chandler, <br />Asst. County Attorney William Collins, and Community Development <br />Director Keating, met with the DCA and probably got about 5 <br />minutes of information out of a two hour conversation. We are <br />sending up aerials and working on our development controls, etc. <br />It appears that the DCA does�not want to go to the Administrative <br />Hearing very badly, but she didn't know that we have anything to <br />lose by going to an Administrative Hearing. <br />Director Keating agreed that when the DCA was asked to <br />speak, they didn't tell us anything more than we have seen in all <br />their written information; so, what we are trying to do right now <br />on the staff level to address some of their concerns is send them <br />aerials of the amount of citrus we have in the urban sprawl area <br />and send them excerpts from our Plan with citations identifying <br />all the tight land use controls we have, and we are also trying <br />76 <br />
