Budget Amendment #060, Miscellaneous Funds <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 5/9/90: <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners` - <br />f%% <br />DATE: May 9, 1990 <br />1� <br />SUBJECT: BUDGET AMENDMENT 060 - MISCELLANEOUS FUNDS <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />FROM: Joseph A. Bair <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The attached budget amendment appropriates funding for the following: <br />1. The Board of County Commissioners authorized emergency <br />funds for bridge repairs. The final cost of repairs are <br />$42,553. <br />2. In the meeting of December 5, 1989, the Board of County <br />Commissioners authorized returning funds paid by <br />developers in lieu of beach access. The total amount <br />returned including interest was $138,035 which was paid <br />from existing cash in the Parks Development fund. <br />3. The cost of delivering civil warrants and subpoenas <br />were not budgeted under Sheriff/Service in Process <br />because we had not officially signed the contract with <br />the state. The attached entry budgets $8,000 for the <br />expense. <br />4. Florida Association of County Commission dues were <br />estimated at $3,000 for 1989/90 fiscal year; however, <br />dues were increased to $5,200. Funding will be :from <br />the General Fund Contingencies. <br />5. A check in a prior year for excess tax deed sale was <br />lost by recipient. A replacement check has to be <br />issued in the amount of $4,295. <br />6. Environmental Control Board needed to buy a R200D Semi- <br />Microbalancer in the amount of $3,200 to do <br />environmental tests. Their revenues exceed projections <br />by $20,000 in the Environmental Control Board fund; <br />therefore they will use the excess revenues to pay for <br />_ the equipment. <br />8 <br />� � r <br />
