IWAY 2 21990 BOOK 80 PAGE., <br />Discussion ensued as to the source of the effluent, and it <br />was noted that the Gifford plant already has a line that goes to <br />Hawk's Nest Golf Course. <br />Public Works Director Davis advised that the conversations <br />he has had with Mr. Marine and Attorney Collins, who is handling <br />this for Bent Pine, indicate that they are having an immediate <br />problem due to the drought and would like to utilize water from <br />the canal to solve that problem; the long term situation was not <br />discussed. <br />Director Pinto informed the Board that he has written Bent <br />Pine's Attorney "Joe" Collins to set up a meeting about re -use. <br />Commissioner Bowman was torn because she was in favor of re- <br />use but she also would like to reduce the amount of water those <br />canals are putting in the lagoon. <br />Director Pinto noted that there are two issues here today, <br />and one is the use of the R/W. <br />Commissioner Scurlock suggested that we allow them use of <br />the R/W but make it conditional that when re -use is available, <br />they will use that. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bird, the Board unanimously accepted staff's <br />recommendation, but directed that a conditional R/W <br />use permit be issued to Bent Pine Golf Club so we have <br />the flexibility, if re -use is the way to go in the <br />future, that we haven't closed ourselves out. <br />TRI -PARTY AGREEMENT RE BARNEY GREEN BOAT RAMP (FELLSMERE GRADE) <br />The Board reviewed memo from Public Works Director Davis: <br />36 <br />
