Tuesday, June 5, 1990 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, June <br />5, 1990, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Carolyn K. Eggert, <br />Chairman; Richard N. Bird, Vice Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman; Don <br />C. Scurlock, Jr.; and Gary C. Wheeler. Also present were James <br />E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, Attorney <br />to the Board of County Commissioners; Joseph Baird, OMB <br />Director; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Father G. P. LaBarre of Trinity Episcopal Church gave the <br />invocation, and Commissioner Bird led the Pledge of Allegiance to <br />the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Eggert requested the following additions: <br />1. As Item N on the Consent Agenda, a Proclamation in <br />appreciation of the assistance of Charlie B. Hudnell. <br />2. A discussion on Anti -Drug Abuse Grants. <br />3. Scheduling of a joint meeting with the City of Vero Beach <br />to discuss effluent reuse. <br />4. Change Order No.3 on Phase III of the Jail. <br />Commissioner Scurlock requested the addition of discussion <br />regarding the possibility of a donation of 20 acres at the <br />1-95/CR-512 interchange for a north county office complex. <br />Commissioner Bird requested the addition of a brief report <br />on the DNR Meeting of June 4th in Cocoa on the manatee protection <br />plan. <br />BOOK <br />
