r <br />JUN 2 6 1990 Boor 80 Fn � <br />ON MOTION made by Kevin Doty, SECONDED by John <br />Morrison, the Council unanimously (6-0) recommended- to <br />bring the local• ordinance concerning the tourist tax <br />into compliance with the State law. <br />ON MOTION by Kevin Doty, SECONDED by Robert Tenbus, the <br />Council unanimously (5-0) agreed to table this meeting <br />until Wednesday, June 13, 1990 at 9:00 A.M. in the <br />First Floor Conference Room. _ <br />June 13, 1990 <br />TOURIST DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL <br />SUMMARY OF ACTIONS <br />ON MOTION by` Mr. Morrison, SECONDED by Mr. Tenbus, the <br />Council, by a vote of 4 to 1, Chairman Wheeler voting in <br />opposition, agreed to fund the City of Vero Beach in the amount <br />of $100,000 for fiscal year 1990/91. <br />ON MOTION by Mr. Morrison, SECONDED by Mr. Bireley, the <br />Council unanimously agreed to grant the Indian River Arts Council <br />request of $22,534 for fiscal year 1990/91. <br />ON MOTION by Mr. Morrison, SECONDED by Mr. Tenbus, the <br />Council, by a vote of 4 to 1, Chairman Wheeler voting in <br />opposition, agreed to fund the Chamber of Commerce in the amount <br />of $84,000 for fiscal year 1990/91. <br />ON MOTION by Mr. Morrison, SECONDED by Mr. Bireley, the <br />Council unanimously agreed to grant the Center for the Arts its <br />request for $10,000 to fund its brochures. <br />ON MOTION by Mr. Morrison, SECONDED by Mr. Tenbus, the <br />Council unanimously agreed to grant the sum of $11,400 for the <br />Contingency Fee for fiscal year 1990/91. <br />36 <br />77 <br />
