RECOMMENDATION <br />It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners, after a <br />public hearing, adopt the subject ordinance. The ordinance was <br />presented before the public in an advertised workshop on July 5, <br />1990, and before the Board in an advertised workshop on July 10, <br />1990. Changes were incorporated into the ordinance after the <br />workshop's addressing concerns expressed by the Board of County <br />Commissioners, The Division of Environmental Health, and the <br />franchised solid waste collection companies. <br />At the conclusion of the hearing before the Board, it is recom- <br />mended that the Board of County Commissioners identify any re- <br />quested changes and adopt the subject ordinance. <br />Chairman Eggert read aloud the following changes to the <br />proposed ordinance that have been recommended by the <br />Environmental Health Dept.: <br />..--------------------------------------------------------------- <br />DATE: AUGUST 6, 1990 <br />TO: BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT <br />THRU: TERRANCE G. BROOKS, MANAGER <br />SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT <br />SUBJECT: MANDATORY COLLECTION ORDINANCE <br />After review of the proposed ordinance by other departments, the <br />following changes are recommended based upon their comments: <br />Section 19, Paragraph 5 <br />The paragraph is changed from: <br />Procedures for accomplishing the provisions of this section <br />shall be as provided by resolution of the Board of SWDD Commis- <br />sioners.
