RECOMMENDATION It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners, after a public hearing, adopt the subject ordinance. The ordinance was presented before the public in an advertised workshop on July 5, 1990, and before the Board in an advertised workshop on July 10, 1990. Changes were incorporated into the ordinance after the workshop's addressing concerns expressed by the Board of County Commissioners, The Division of Environmental Health, and the franchised solid waste collection companies. At the conclusion of the hearing before the Board, it is recom- mended that the Board of County Commissioners identify any re- quested changes and adopt the subject ordinance. BROOKS, MANAGER SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT SUBJECT: MANDATORY COLLECTION ORDINANCE After review of the proposed ordinance by other departments, the following changes are recommended based upon their comments: Section 19, Paragraph 5 The paragraph is changed from: Procedures for accomplishing the provisions of this section shall be as provided by resolution of the Board of SWDD Commis- sioners.
