Attorney Vitunac advised that the <br />Personnel policy will not be in this Code; it will be Chapter <br />105; and the Purchasing Ordinance is being rewritten. <br />Commissioner Scurlock commented that the feeling is that the <br />more complex a purchasing ordinance is, the more it protects the <br />county, but he has found that to be the reverse. He believed the <br />City of Vero Beach has done an excellent job with theirs which is <br />quite short. <br />Administrator Chandler believed that is what the Board will <br />see when it is brought back to them. <br />Attorney Vitunac stated that if the Commissioners will go <br />over all this, he will put it on the agenda for September 18th, <br />and then will send this and the LDR Ordinance to Tallahassee at <br />the same time. <br />INDIAN RIVER BOULEVARD, PHASE IV - KENNEDY PARCEL <br />Attorney Vitunac reviewed the following memo from Asst. <br />County Attorney Collins, noting that, especially in view of the <br />difference being only $8,000 and the possibility of having to <br />deal with multiple lawyers, staff would recommend acceptance of <br />the counter -proposal: <br />Ii <br />`�I <br />31� ;, or, <br />v �iI 8 <br />
