SEP 2 5 1990 bl' <br />The appraised value of the 60' is $61,617. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The following alternatives are presented: <br />Alternative No. 1 <br />Do not purchase at the present time, request a reservation and <br />when four lane widening improvements are implemented, purchase <br />the land at that time at'the higher land value. <br />Alternative No 2_ _ <br />Purchase the 60' x 327.8' right-of-way simultaneously with the <br />dedication of the 10' by site plan. Purchase price to be $50,000 <br />and reimburse the owner for the*$1,200 appraisal fee. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />It is recommended that Alternative No. 2 be approved and allow <br />the property owner to use the fence, flagpole, sign and shrubs in <br />the right-of-way until road construction begins.
