Gentile, C.E.T. <br />Civil Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Resolution to Provide for the Paving and Drainage <br />Improvements to: <br />42nd Avenue <br />from <br />6th Street to <br />1) <br />42nd Avenue <br />from <br />6th Street to <br />8th Street <br />2) <br />42nd Avenue <br />from <br />10th Street to <br />12th Street <br />3) <br />44th Avenue <br />from <br />16th Street to <br />Pinewood <br />Subdivision <br />13th Avenue <br />from <br />12th Street to <br />4) <br />13th Avenue <br />from <br />12th Street to <br />14th Street <br />5) <br />2nd Street <br />from 23rd Avenue to <br />24th Avenue <br />DATE: September 10, 1990 <br />----------------------------------------------------------------- <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The County Public Works Department has received petitions <br />for road paving and drainage improvements for the following: <br />1) <br />42nd Avenue <br />from <br />6th Street to <br />8th Street <br />2) <br />42nd Avenue <br />from <br />10th Street to <br />12th Street <br />3) <br />44th Avenue <br />from <br />16th Street to <br />Pinewood <br />Subdivision <br />4) <br />13th Avenue <br />from <br />12th Street to <br />14th Street <br />5) <br />2nd Street <br />from 23rd Avenue to <br />24th Avenue <br />A separate resolution will need to be adopted to hold a <br />Public Hearing to discuss the advisability, cost and amount <br />of the assessment against each property owner. <br />This Public Hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday, October. <br />23, 1990 at 9:05 A.M. in the County Commission Chambers. <br />An assessment roll and plat has been prepared and filed with the <br />Clerkto the Board. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />It is recommended that motions be made to: <br />1) Adopt the resolution providing for the paving and drainage <br />improvements for the projects subject to the terms outlined <br />in the resolution.; The applicable interest rate shall be <br />12% at the time the final assessment roll is approved. <br />2) Allocate $257,921.98 from the Petition Paving Account <br />#173-214-541-035.39. <br />3) Road Projects will be advertised for bid and constructed by <br />a private contractor. <br />4) Adopt a resolution setting the time and place of the Public <br />Hearing. <br />S E P 2 5 1990I Ali77 DOOK <br />
