Tuesday, October 16, 1990 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />October 16, 1990, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Carolyn K. <br />Eggert, Chairman; Richard N. Bird, Vice Chairman; Margaret C. <br />Bowman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr.; and Gary C. Wheeler. Also present <br />were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, <br />Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; and Virginia. <br />Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend John Harrington, Christ United Methodist by the <br />Sea, gave the invocation, and Commissioner Bird led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Eggert requested that the adoption and presentation <br />of a Proclamation in regard to Disability Employment Awareness <br />Month be added to the Agenda as 5 B. She advised that Item 11 B <br />(1) which is listed under Emergency Services should be moved to <br />North County Fire District under Special Districts. The Chairman <br />further requested that an approval of the Bonds for herself and <br />Commissioner Wheeler be added to the Consent Agenda as Item 7 U, <br />and also wished to add under her items as 13 A (2) Support of the <br />Health Department's recommendations re Halloween. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by Com- _ <br />missioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved the <br />addition and transfer of the items on today's Agenda <br />as described above. <br />-. b <br />[�UOK F,'IvE���R.J% <br />
