H. Termination of Sebastian Library Lease <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 10/18/90: _ <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners V 0 <br />FROM: Terrence P. 0' Brien - Assistant County Attorney <br />`"'HATE: October 18, 1990 <br />SUBJECT: TERMINATION OF SEBASTIAN LIBRARY LEASE <br />The County, as lessee by assignment, is a party to a lease <br />with the City of Sebastian for the Sebastian Library. The <br />North County Library is scheduled to be opened to the public <br />on November 20, 1990 and the Sebastian Library building will <br />no longer be used by the County as a library. <br />The attached letter provides for a transition period and for <br />termination of the lease effective January 21, 1991. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />the termination of the Sebastian Library Lease <br />Agreement, effective January 21, 1991, as recommended <br />by staff. <br />1_ Request to Advertise for Public Hearings <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 10/30/90: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Terrence P. O'Brien - Assistant County Attorney vc) <br />DATE: October 30, 1990 <br />SUBJECT: 1. Recodification of miscellaneous offenses into <br />the new code <br />2. Ordinance providing for the collection of <br />unpaid parking tickets <br />3. Reporting of unpaid tickets for handicapped <br />parking violations <br />The first ordinance is primarily a recodification of <br />miscellaneous offenses into the new code. <br />The second ordinance provides for the collection of unpaid <br />parking tickets. This is in response to a request by Vero <br />Beach Police Chief Jim Gabbard and was previously agreed to <br />In principle by the Commission. <br />The third ordinance is a new statutory requirement. <br />In view of the foregoing, authority to advertise the subject <br />ordinances for public hearings is requested. <br />WDY 61990 13 BOOK <br />L___ -- <br />
