BOOK 81 F,1GE <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously scheduled <br />a <br />a Public Hearing on November 11, 1990 to consider an <br />ordinance for regulating the distribution of handbills. <br />William Koolage, 815 26th Avenue, stated that he has been <br />fighting unwanted circulars being thrown in his yard for over a <br />year now. He notified both the Advertiser and the Beachcomber <br />that he does not want their papers, but after a few months, they <br />get a new carrier and the papers are there again. He urged the <br />Board to make this ordinance as strong as possible so that it <br />will work. <br />APPOINTMENT TO ALCOHOL ABUSE AND MENTAL HEALTH PLANNING COUNCIL <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bowman, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously appointed <br />Sue Schlitt to -the Alcohol Abuse and Mental Health <br />Planning Council. <br />There being no further business, on Motion duly made, <br />seconded and carried, the Board adjourned at 11:00 o'clock A.M. <br />ATTEST: <br />Clerk Cha i an <br />74 <br />
