McCoy 1dt" <br />Staff Planner/,' -Current Development <br />• DATE: November 13, 1990 <br />SUBJECT: Indian River County's Request for Special Exception and <br />Major Site Plan Approval for the South County Park <br />SP -MA -90-11-67 <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given.formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at its regular <br />meeting of November 20, 1990. 1. <br />PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AND LOCATION: <br />Indian River County has submitted an application for major site <br />plan and special exception approval for a multi -recreational public <br />park. The subject property is located at the northeast coiner of <br />20th Avenue and Oslo Road. The property is zoned RS -6 and RM -6, <br />districts which require special exception approval for a public <br />park with outdoor lighting. Lighting is proposed for several <br />fields. The park will be constructed in a minimum of two (2) <br />phases, depending upon the post -Phase I improvements funding <br />scheduled by the Board of County Commissioners. The County is <br />seeking approval of the complete Master Plan, and proposes park <br />facilities in the following manner: <br />Improvements-.
