Such resolution shall describe the <br />land and state the cost of abatement, which shall include an <br />administrative cost of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per lot. <br />Such assessment shall be a legal, valid, and binding <br />obligation upon the property against which made until paid. <br />The assessment shall be due and payable thirty days after the <br />mailing of a Notice of Assessment, after which interest shall <br />accrue at the rate of twelve (12 ) percent per annum on any <br />unpaid portion thereof." <br />Cost for equipment use and labor, as indicated by the Road-& Bridge <br />Division, plus the $75.00 administrative cost, calculates -to be: <br />Labor $ 70.40 <br />Equipment $ 920.00 <br />Landfill $ 504.60 <br />Administrative Fee $ 75.00 <br />Total 1570.00 <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners adopt the <br />proposed resolution assessing $1570.00 in abatement cost, in <br />accordance with section 973.06(1), of the Indian River County Land <br />Development Code. <br />The Chairman asked if Mr. Doyle was present and was informed <br />that he was not nor did anyone wish to speak for him. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 90-172 assessing costs of County Public <br />Nuisance Abatement on the subject property in Oslo <br />Park Subdivision owned by Freeman Doyle as recom- <br />mended by staff. <br />NOV 21 1990 <br />23 <br />BOOK Cid mu <br />I <br />
