Davis, P.E., Wl <br />Public Works Director / <br />SUBJECT: Replacement of Wabasso Bridge Fender System along <br />the Intracoastal Waterway JBridge # 880053) <br />DATE: November 26, 1990 FILE: wabasso.agn <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Staff attended a recent Florida DOT Bridge Inspection <br />meeting, and the DOT's Bridge Consultant, Parsons, <br />Brinckerhoff, Quade and Douglas, Inc., is recommending major <br />repairs to the Wabasso Causeway High Level bridge including: <br />1) Patch corner spall on Pile "B" of Bent 18 under the <br />Cap. <br />2) Fill voids in Pier 3 footing and remove all loose <br />concrete from the footing of Pier 15 and patch spall. <br />3) Remove debris from cap tops. <br />4) Tighten all nuts in bearing assemblies. Re -paint <br />bearing assemblies and bearing hardware. <br />5) Patch beams as required. <br />6) Seal expansion joints. <br />7) Seal cracks in underside of the sidewalks. <br />8 Patch spalls in north parapet. <br />9) Replace entire fender system. <br />10) Replace navigational lights. <br />11) Repaint utility hangers and pipe. <br />12) Concrete bulkhead repair/replacement. <br />DEC 41990 29 600K S20 FAGE �' <br />
