r- -1 <br />DEC I 1990 eoa� ra,t 951 <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, that the Board approve Alternative <br />#1, as set out in staff's recommendation, and pay the <br />owner $27,450, even if we have to borrow from other <br />funds to pay for it. <br />Under discussion, Director Davis explained that the <br />alternative to this is to deny approval for the development when <br />it comes in. <br />Commissioner Scurlock stated that his Motion to pay the man <br />what we owe him still stands. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. (UW-89-09WEST=DS) <br />BACKGROUND <br />The subject project for installation of a water main to service <br />residents of 9th Avenue has been completed and has been accepted by <br />the Department of Utility Services. <br />ANALYSIS t <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved funding of $11,700.00 for <br />this project on June 26, 1990, and the Contractor is now requesting <br />payment. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends approval <br />of the attached request for payment in the amount of $11,700.00 for _ <br />services rendered. <br />132 <br />
