ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />staff's recommendation to send out requests for <br />proposal. <br />SEWER FORCE MAIN ON OSLO ROAD FROM U.S.#1 WEST TO TIMBER RIDGE <br />TENNIS RANCH <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 12/3/90: <br />DATE: DECEMBER 3, 1990 <br />TO: JAMES E. McCAWLZASERVICES <br />AND STAFFED CAPITAL PROJECT <br />BY: DEPARTMENT OF U <br />SUBJECT: SEWER FORCE MAIN ON OSLO ROAD FROM U. S. 1 WEST TO <br />TIMBER RIDGE TENNIS RANCH <br />In keeping with the master planned expansion of our sewer collection <br />system, we now plan to design and construct the aforementioned sewer <br />force main. We are requesting to do this as a joint project with <br />the Public Works Department. Public Works currently has the firm of <br />Kimley-Horn under contract to design a road -widening project in the <br />same.area. <br />ANALYSIS <br />The cost of the project is estimated to be $250,000.00, with <br />proposed engineering fees of $20,700.00 (see attached Amendment No. <br />2 for details of services). This contract will be Amendment No. 2 <br />to an existing agreement with Public Works, entitled Work Order No. <br />2 (on record with the Clerk of Court). Funding for this project <br />will come from the Impact Fee Fund. <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends approval <br />of Amendment No. 2 with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. <br />137 Boor <br />DEG 111990 <br />
