Modification to Fuel Storage Sheriff's Administration Building <br />The Board reviewed the following memo from Superintendant <br />of Buildings and Grounds Lynn Williams with attached proposal from <br />Wilson's. "Sonny" Dean, Director of General Services <br />FROM: Lynn Williams. Supt. of Buildings & Grounds. <br />DATE: December 17, 1990 <br />SUBJECT: Modification to Fuel Storage <br />Sheriff's Administration Building <br />BUDGET AMENDMENT -014 <br />CbNSENT AGENDA <br />aamaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamamaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />The attached correspondance and proposal were forwarded to the <br />Buildings and grounds for review and appropriate action. <br />A condition exists that allows spilled fuel to collect in the <br />filler neck of the underground fuel tank. The required remedial <br />work will replace the filler neck with a type that allows the fuel <br />to be diverted to the tank. <br />Risk Management has reviewed the situation and has recommended the <br />modification. - <br />No funds were specifically set aside for -this Recommendation and <br />Funding work in Fiscal Year 90/91. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING: <br />Staff .recommends that modification as outlined in this proposal <br />from Wilson Petroleum Equipment and requests that funds be <br />transferred to the Buildings and Grounds Budget from General Fund <br />Contingencies. <br />8 <br />
