DICK BIRD, CHAIRMAN, BCC <br />FROM: ANN ROBINSON <br />RE:- AGENDA ITEM FOR BCC MEETING OF JANUARY 22, 1991'. <br />Precinct 32 has nearly 2800 registered voters in it. We <br />would like to have the Board's approval to divide Precinct 32 <br />and create a new precinct, Precinct 38. The new precinct <br />would contain Heron Cay and Heritage Village as well as the <br />rest of the southern part of Precinct 32. <br />Heritage Village has given us approval to use their recreation <br />building as a polling place for Precinct 38; see attachment. <br />Also, we would like your approval to change four of the polling <br />places as follows: <br />Precinct 15 to North Indian River County Library <br />1001 County Road 512, Sebastian <br />Precinct 30 to Indian River County Library <br />1600 21st Street, Vero Beach <br />Precinct 41 to Vero Christian Church <br />796 20th Avenue, Vero Beach <br />Precinct 51 to Holy Cross Catholic Church <br />2605 Highway AlA. <br />Thank you. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />the request by the Supervisor of Elections to divide <br />Precinct 32, create Precinct 38, and change four of the <br />polling places, as set out in the above memo. <br />PURCHASE OF LOT 3, BLOCK 7 - BOOKER T.
