JRA s� <br />PooK 7 <br />LEASED SPACE - 2001 BUILDING <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 1/15/91: <br />DATE: JANUARY 15, 1991 <br />TO: HONORABLE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />THRU: JAMES E. CHANDLER <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR <br />FROM: H.T. "SONNY" DEAN, DIRECTOR <br />DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVI ES <br />SUBJECT: LEASED SPACE - 2001 BUILDING <br />CONTRACT AMENDMENT <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Since August of 1990 this office has been trying to renew the subject <br />lease which expired December 31, 1990. It is anticipated that we <br />will be moving everyone out of this location by July 1991, and would <br />not require another full year's lease. We proposed to lease on a <br />month-to-month basis with a thirty day cancellation clause. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />On Monday, January 14,- 1991, we received a signed. lease amendment <br />from Mr. Ed Schlitt agreeing to the proposed terms. All existing <br />termss-apd conditions will remain the same as during the past year. <br />We are paying $6.30 per square foot. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Staff recommends approval of the applicable amendment and requests <br />authorization for the Board Chairman to execute the lease. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Lease Agreement, and authorized the Chairman's <br />signature, as recommended by staff. <br />LEASE AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE <br />BOARD <br />14 <br />
