JAN. e2` t <br />BOOK 82 F,10E <br />The final assessment roll has been prepared and is ready to be <br />delivered to the Clerk to the Board. Assessments are to be paid <br />within 90 days or in 2 equal installments, the first to be made <br />twelve months from the due date and subsequent payments to be due <br />yearly from the..due date at an interest rate of 12% established by <br />the Board of County Commissioners. The due date is 90 days after <br />the final determination of the special assessment. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Since the final assessment to the benefitted owners is less than <br />the preliminary assessment roll, the only alternative presented is <br />to approve the final assessment roll. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />It is recommended that the final assessment roll and the "As -Built <br />Resolution" for the paving of the above mentioned road be approved <br />:=by the Board of County Commissioners and that it be transferred to <br />the Office of the Clerk to the Board for recording in the <br />"Assessment Lien Book" and to the Tax Collectors office for <br />collection. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved <br />staff's recommendation as set out in the above memo and <br />adopted Resolution 91-8, certifying "as -built" costs <br />for certain paving and drainage improvements to 61st <br />Drive (Low's Subdivision) designated as project No. <br />8408, and other construction necessitated by such <br />project; providing for formal completion date, and date <br />for payment without penalty and interest. <br />24 <br />
