Gentile,G.E.T. <br />Civil Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Public Hearing for the Paving and Drainage Improvements <br />to: <br />1) Frangipani Drive from CR510 to Magnolia Drive <br />2) 39th Avenue from 6th Street to 8th Street <br />3) 1st Place from 27th Avenue to 24th Avenue <br />DATE: January 4, 1991 <br />-------------------------- <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On December 18, 1990 the Board of County Commissioners adopted <br />three Resolutions, Nos. 90-186, 90-187, and 90-188, providing for <br />certain paving and drainage improvements to: <br />90-186 1) Frangipani Drive from CR510 to Magnolia Drive -63% in <br />favor <br />90-187 2) 39th Avenue from 6th Street to 8th Street - Developer <br />escrowed money <br />90-188 3) 1st Place from 27th Avenue to 24th Avenue - 85% in <br />favor <br />Please note the cost for 1st Place includes the cost of <br />right-of-way as per the Board's recent direction which is <br />why the per foot cost is higher than normal. The <br />right-of-way cost.was estimated at $1.50 per square foot. <br />Also on'December 18, 1990, the Board of County'Commissioners <br />adopted another Resolution'No. 90-185 setting the date and <br />time for a Public Hearing'to discuss the advisability, cost <br />and amount of the assessment against each property owner. <br />This hearing is scheduled for January 29, 1991. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />After hearing complaints and input at the -Public Hearing and if <br />necessary, any adjustments to the assessment roll, it is <br />recommended that -the Board of County Commissioners approve the <br />attached Resolutions confirming the assessment roll. If <br />adjustments or changes are made a new resolution will be brought <br />before the Board of County Commissioners for approval. <br />Chairman Bird suggested discussing the individual projects <br />starting with Frangipani Drive from CR 510 to Magnolia Drive. <br />11 <br />6 - <br />BOOK BOOK <br />�� _9 1991 <br />
