The Motion <br />was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />APPROVAL OF FY -91 EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT - <br />------------ <br />BUDGET AMENDMENT #025 <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 1/28/91: <br />TO: James Chandler <br />County Administrator <br />THROUGH: Doug Wright, Director <br />Department of Emergency Services <br />FROM: John Ring, Deputy Director TK <br />Department of Emergency Services <br />DATE: January 28, 1991 <br />SUBJECT: APPROVAL -OF FY -91 EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT <br />ASSISTANCE (EMA) AGREEMENT <br />BUDGET AMENDMENT #025 <br />It is respectfully requested that the information contained herein <br />be given formal consideration by the Board of County Commissioners <br />at the next scheduled meeting. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />The Indian River County Department 'of Emergency Services has <br />received the attached FY -91 Emergency Management Assistance <br />Agreement (EMA) from the Federal Emergency Management Agency <br />through the Department of Community Affairs in the amount of <br />$28,388.72. The Department of Emergency Services has participated <br />in the EMA'program for several years and according to the contract, <br />these funds are matched by the Country government. <br />The funds are to be utilized to complete the Scope of Work <br />contained in the agreement within the allowed time frames. Due to <br />a delay at the Department of Community Affairs, we are receiving <br />the proposed funding later than usual in terms of the fiscal year. <br />Even though the delay has placed us well into the second quarter, <br />we are still eligible to receive all proposed funding allowable <br />within the agreement. <br />40 <br />
