FEB 6 1991 p7SP5 <br />ANALYSIS <br />It has been determined by the engineer that no recorded documents <br />reflecting easements or public rights-of-way existed for portions of <br />the planned water line installation. <br />The engineer (PBS&J) `has proposed to perform field work and <br />research, and prepare easements for the Vickers Road and Stratton <br />Avenue water main installation. Total fee for these services will <br />be $4,167.00, and the design schedule will be extended three weeks. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Department of Utility Services recommends approval of $4,167.00 <br />for the additional services to be performed by PBS&J as a <br />prerequisite to design completion. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Scurlock, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Eggert, to approve <br />$4,167 for the additional services to be <br />performed by PBS&J as recommended by Staff. <br />Commissioner Eggert expressed concern about having some system <br />so we can track right of way more thoroughly up front. <br />Assistant Utilities Director Asher explained that the problem <br />is that when we entered into this we did not know just where the <br />lines were going. <br />CHAIRMAN BIRD CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />NORTH COUNTY SUBREGIONAL SEWER SYSTEM (CONTRACT 3) <br />The Board reviewed memo from Utilities Engineer William McCain <br />as follows: <br />46 <br />
