PINT <br />DIR R UTIL SERVICES <br />PREPARED H. , P.E. <br />AND STAFFED ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER <br />BY: DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: HEDDEN PLACE WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM <br />FINAL PAYMENT <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. UW -90 -08 -DS <br />BACKGROUND <br />The subject project for construction of a water main to service <br />residents of Hedden Place has beer%•completed. The installation has. <br />been accepted by the Department of Utility Services, and proper <br />certification has been provided the Department of Environmental <br />Regulation. <br />ANALYSIS <br />On August 14, 1990, the Board of County Commissioners approved <br />funding of $45,195.00 for this project, and the contractor is now <br />requesting final payment. The contractor's final cost totaled <br />$29,927.40. This cost, plus Engineering, Inspection, and <br />Administrative Costs, totals $33,413.40, or $3,338 per acre <br />(approximately $0.0766/sq. ft.). This represents a reduction of <br />about 26% in the assessment. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends approval <br />of the attached request for payment in the amount of $29,927.40 for <br />services rendered and recommends approval of Resolution IV with its <br />final assessment roll. <br />49 <br />moK S? p ,F. 8r -f) <br />
