ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously declared <br />as surplus and authorized the sale of the North Beach <br />Plant .500 MGD R.O. train, as recommended by staff. <br />G. IRC Bid #91-57 __ Surplus _Sale _#1 <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 3/11/91: <br />DATE: March 11, 1991 <br />TO: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />THRU: James E. Chandler, County Administrator <br />H.T. "Sonny" Dean, Director <br />Department of General Service <br />FROM: Fran Boynton, Purchasing Managery <br />SUBJ: IRC Bid #91-57/Surplus Sale #1 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Utilities Department requests that you surplus and sell the <br />Breezy Village 0.015 MGD Extended Aeration Treatment Facility. <br />The plant consists of three 5,000 gallon aeration tanks, one clar- <br />ifier, chlorine contact chamber, and a small sludge holding tank. <br />The aeration tanks have all aeration piping. The clarifier also " <br />has all return sludge lines, which are air lift. There is no <br />blower with this treatment plant. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />Staff recommends that authority be granted by the Board of County <br />Commissioners to declare the above surplus and authorize its sale. <br />FUNDING: <br />The monies received from this sale will be returned to the <br />appropriate accounts. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />This will be placed on the Surplus Property Sale open to the Public _ <br />as per State Statutes. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously declared <br />as surplus and authorized the sale of the Breezy <br />Village 0.015 MGD Extended Aeration Treatment Facility, <br />as recommended by staff. <br />7 1P 0 0 K.
