F"_ -1 <br />MAY <br />BOOK 83 FAGE 2,(- <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that unavailable department <br />heads shall provide good and <br />sufficient reason for their unavailability; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Emergency Services <br />Director or his designated replacement shall be available <br />for emergency duty at all times; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that each department head <br />Is responsible to maintain and provide the services and, <br />duties of his respective department during emergency <br />situations; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any county employees <br />refusing to perform the duties of his position during, an <br />emergency without good cause shall be subject to termination <br />from'county employment; and <br />BE IT RESOLVED that during a declared emergency <br />this policy shall supersede all other --county personnel <br />policies; and <br />FURTHERMORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a copy of the <br />Peacetime Emergency Policy shall be kept in the office of <br />the Clerk of Circuit Court and of the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County at all times. <br />The resolution was moved for adoption by <br />Commissioner Scurlock - and the motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Bowman and, upon being put to a vote, <br />the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Richard N.
