ON MOTION by Commissioner Bowman, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously <br />approved Change Order No. 1 for a net credit of <br />$1,156.00 from Inscho-Kirlin as recommended by <br />Staff. <br />SAID DOCUMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF <br />CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ESTABLISHING A DISASTER EMERGENCY <br />EMPLOYEE POLICY <br />Commissioner Eggert referred to where it says, ItNow, <br />therefore, be it resolved that all department heads shall be <br />available and on standby call," she felt it should say, "or his <br />designee." Actually, "all department heads or their designated <br />replacement," would be parallel to what is below it. <br />Attorney Vitunac and Administrator Chandler agreed. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 91-55, as amended, establishing a <br />Disaster Emergency Employee policy. <br />RESOLUTION NO: 91-55 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A DISASTER <br />EMERGENCY EMPLOYEE POLICY. <br />WHEREAS, Florida Statutes provide that the Board <br />of County Commissioners of each county in the state of <br />Florida is responsible to safeguard the life and property of <br />Its citizens. <br />WHEREAS, in order to fulfill this requirement, <br />during an emergency, as declared by the Governor or by the <br />Indian River County Commission, or designated successor it <br />is necessary that key county personnel be available, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that all department <br />heads or their designated replacement shall be available and <br />on stand -by -call; and <br />95 <br />
