second weekends of October 2013, October 2014 and October 2015 for use by <br />Special Olympics for their State Championship swim meet. The County shall <br />also supply for the meet the following: <br />A. Sufficient life guards and staff necessary for the safe and efficient <br />operation of the pool during the swim meet. <br />B. Provide for Indian River County Emergency Medical Services <br />personnel to be on site during the meet and opening ceremony. <br />C. Sufficient bleachers as may safely fit at the Aquatic Center for athletes <br />and spectators. <br />D. A timing system for use during the swim meet. <br />E. The County will coordinate the location of the opening ceremony. <br />F. Radios for communication purposes; for management personnel for the <br />meet. <br />G. Ice for the meet from the existing dispenser on site and potential use of <br />the ;ce machine from the neighboring school. <br />H. Primary use of the parking area. <br />I. Contacts for Food services = dinner contacts and coordination. <br />J. Recruitment of the USA Swimming officials " for the meet and <br />equipment. <br />K. Recruitment of the volunteers for the meet. <br />L. Stopwatches for back-up timing purposes. <br />M. Copier for the use of Special Olympics as needed. <br />N. Emergency Ievacuation systems and equipment (as existing at the <br />County facility). <br />O. Physical disability lift chair for the pool. <br />P, Exclusive use of the meeting room. <br />Q. Law Enforcement officers <br />R. Extension cords, powerstrips and cabling for the timing systems. <br />S. Assistance with the set-up and location of the tents, tables and chairs. <br />T. Recruitment of the scoreboard operator and event announcer. <br />U. Scoreboard and sound system for the meet. <br />V. Exclusive use of the venue during the event (including the side -pool for <br />the walking events). <br />4. During thie course of the swim meet, Special Olympics will provide the <br />following: <br />A. A scor:�, board operator and event announcer <br />B. Payment to the USA Swimming meet officials <br />C. Payment of the scoreboard operator and event announcer. <br />D. Tents, tables and chairs sufficient for registration or other <br />administrative duties necessitated by the swim meet <br />E. Sound equipment needs for the awards area <br />F. Signage and any awards given to the participants <br />G. A DJ or announcer for the Opening Ceremony <br />H. Food and water for athletes, coaches, staff and volunteers <br />1) <br />ELI] <br />
