SC-13.03 Test and Inspections <br /> SC-13.03.13. Delete the first sentence of paragraph GC-13.03.B in its entirety, and insert the <br /> following sentences in its place.- <br /> B. <br /> lace:B. OWNER shall employ and pay for the services of an independent testing <br /> laboratory to perform all initial inspections, tests, or approvals required by the <br /> Contract Documents except those inspections, tests, or approvals listed <br /> immediately below. Subsequent inspections, tests, or approvals required after <br /> initial failing inspections, tests, or approvals shall be paid for by the <br /> CONTRACTOR by back charge to subsequent applications for payment. The <br /> CONTRACTOR shall arrange, obtain, and pay for the following inspections, <br /> tests, or approvals: <br /> 1. inspections, tests, or approvals covered by paragraphs 13.03.0 and 13.03.D <br /> below; <br /> 2. costs incurred in connection with tests or inspections conducted pursuant to <br /> paragraph 13.04.13 shall be paid as provided in said paragraph 13.04.13; <br /> 3. tests otherwise specifically provided in the Contract Documents. <br /> 13.05 OWNER May Stop the Work <br /> I SC-13.05.A. Delete paragraph GC-13.05.A in its entirety and insert the following paragraph in its <br /> place: <br /> A. If the Work is defective, or CONTRACTOR fails to supply sufficient skilled workers or <br /> suitable materials or equipment, or fails to comply with permit requirements, or fails <br /> to comply with the technical specifications, or fails to perform the Work in such a way <br /> that the completed Work will conform to the Contract Documents, OWNER may order <br /> CONTRACTOR to stop the Work, or any portion thereof, until the cause for such order <br /> has been eliminated; however, this right of OWNER to stop the Work shall not give rise <br /> to any duty on the part of OWNER to exercise this right for the benefit of <br /> CONTRACTOR, any Subcontractor, any Supplier, any other individual or entity, or any <br /> surety for, or employee or agent of any of them. <br /> SC-13.07 Correction Period <br /> SC-13.07 A. Delete the first sentence of paragraph GC-13.07.A in its entirety and insert the <br /> following sentence in its place <br /> A.
