SECTION 01710 <br /> SITE CLEANUP AND RESTORATION <br /> 1.1 SCOPE <br /> Furnish all labor, equipment, appliances, and materials required or necessary to <br /> clean up and restore the site after the construction is completed. <br /> 1.2 REQUIREMENTS <br /> A. During the progress of the project, keep the work and the adjacent areas <br /> affected thereby in a neat and orderly condition. Remove all rubbish, <br /> surplus materials, and unused construction equipment. Repair all <br /> damage so that the public and property owners will be inconvenienced as <br /> little as possible. <br /> B. Provide onsite containers for the collection of waste materials, debris, and <br /> rubbish and empty such containers in a legal manner when they become <br /> full. <br /> C. Where material or debris has been deposited in watercourses, ditches, <br /> gutters, drains, or catch-basins as a result of the CONTRACTOR's <br /> operations, such material or debris shall be entirely removed and <br /> satisfactorily disposed of during the progress of the work, and the ditches, <br /> channels, drains, etc., shall be kept clean and open at all times. <br /> D. Before the completion of the project, unless otherwise especially directed <br /> or permitted in writing: <br /> 1. Tear down and remove all temporary buildings and structures; <br /> 2. Remove all temporary works, tools, and machinery, or other <br /> construction equipment furnished; <br /> 3. Remove all rubbish from any grounds occupied; and <br /> 4. Leave the roads, all parts of the premises, and adjacent property <br /> affected by construction operations, in a neat and satisfactory <br /> condition. <br /> E. Restore or replace any public or private property damaged by construction <br /> work, equipment, or employees, to a condition at least equal to that <br /> existing immediately prior to the beginning of the operations. To this end, <br /> the CONTRACTOR shall restore all highway, roadside, and landscaping <br /> work within any right-of-way, platted or prescriptive. Acceptable materials, <br /> equipment and methods shall be used for such restoration. <br /> F.
