Table 4-5 lists the most important reason customers ride the bus by their age group. Based on survey results, approximately 13 percent of younger riders (below age 29) use the bus because they don't drive. That is significantly more than the 3.4 percent seniors who cited the same reason. Another 17 percent of younger riders indicated that they do not have a car available.
