Vasquez, Records Management Liaison Officer <br /> Commissioner Assistant, District 2 <br /> Effective February 20, 2011, agencies are no longer required to obtain authorization from the <br /> Department of State prior to the disposition of scheduled records, but must maintain specific <br /> information for documenting this activity. Each agency is required to "...submit to the Division, once a <br /> year, a signed statement attesting to the agency's compliance with records disposition laws, rules and <br /> procedures." <br /> Attached is a Records Disposition Compliance Statement for the period October 1, 2012 and ending <br /> September 30, 2013 for the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners. <br /> Recommendation <br /> Authorize the Chairman to sign the Records Disposition Compliance Statement for the period October <br /> 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013 and return to the Records Management Liaison Officer (RMLO) <br /> form to be mailed to the Florida Department of State for the Indian River County Board of County <br /> Commissioners. <br /> Attachments: Letter dated November 1, 2013 from the Florida Department of State record <br /> Disposition Compliance Statement, Copies of Records Disposition Document <br /> /lev <br /> 49 <br />
