CONSENT <br /> "reserve" auction, the Board of County Commissioners would have the opportunity to approve the <br /> agreed upon advertising funds required by the auction campaign and said funds would be advanced by <br /> the County to the auction company. Upon acceptance by the Board of the auction results and the <br /> subsequent closing of the transaction, the advanced advertising funds will be credited back to the <br /> County with the proceeds. In the event the bid price for the real property does not meet the county <br /> established minimum price, the county would not receive credit for the actual advertising amount used <br /> by the auction company to promote the auction. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Staff recommends awarding this Request for Proposal (RFP) to Associate Auctions, LLC, as the sole <br /> responsive and responsible respondent meeting the specifications as set forth in the RFP. <br /> In addition, staff requests the Board of County Commissioners approval of the attached sample <br /> agreement and authorization for the Chairman to execute said agreement when required certificate of <br /> insurance has been received and approved by Risk Management and the County Attorney has approved <br /> the agreement as to form and legal sufficiency. <br /> FUNDING: <br /> No funding is allocated for these services at this time. Due to the uneven and uncertain nature of our <br /> needs for these services, funding sources will be determined on a case by case basis.
