Consideration of Amendments to Restrictions on Parking <br /> Commercial Vehicles in Residential Areas, LDR Chapters <br /> 911 and 912 <br /> Mr. Stan Boling, Planning Director welcomed new member Jon Day, <br /> Environmental Issues Appointee to the Committee, replacing Ryan Morrell and <br /> provided direction to the committee where IRC committee & Board of County <br /> Commission information and committee documents may be found on the County <br /> Website. <br /> Mr. Robert Gaskill arrived at 2:03 p.m. <br /> Mr. Boling mentioned a correction on his memorandum dated October 16, <br /> 2008, page 2, under Recommendations, after the words "related to", replace <br /> school concurrency with commercial vehicle regulations. He continued with a <br /> PowerPoint presentation, copies of which are on file with the Commission Office. <br /> Mr. Boling summarized the proposed revision to the commercial vehicle <br /> definition to replace the wordage of rated capacity to gross vehicle weight, with <br /> the additional description to include size (length and height) of the vehicle and <br /> restriction regarding buckets, booms, etc. <br /> A discussion ensued regarding technical elements of other trucks with <br /> hoisting booms versus the physical/visual appearance. <br /> ON MOTION BY Mr. Robinson, SECONDED BY Mr. <br /> Moler, the members voted unanimously (8-0) to <br /> adopt the proposed LDR amendments related to <br /> commercial vehicles subject to adding language <br /> regarding the specifics of hoisting equipment. <br /> (2:10 p.m.) <br /> Mr. Alan Schommer arrived at 2:10 p.m. <br /> PSACIUnapproved 2 October 23, 2008 <br /> CADocuments and Settings\mbowdren\Locai Settings\Temporary Internet Fiies\OLK27\Min10 dor, <br /> ATTACRUIPMT 1 215 <br />
