The purpose of the survey was to <br /> identify properties that fit into at least one of the following three categories: <br /> 1. Sub-Standard Housing Category; <br /> ■ Buildings that appeared in need of substantial repair to the roof, foundation, or siding. <br /> ■ Buildings with boarded up or damaged windows and doors. <br /> 2. Dilapidated Housing Category; <br /> ■ Buildings that appeared to be in such disrepair that rehabilitation might be more costly and time-consuming than building <br /> new structure. <br />��, Community Development Department Indian River County 14 <br />
