Page Two <br />12th Street and 27th Avenue Intersection Improvements <br />(W For July 16, 2013 BCC Meeting <br />FUNDING <br />Funding in the amount of $391,861 is budgeted and available from Traffic Impact Fees/District <br />2, Account No. 10215241-066510-02033, 12th Street & 27th Avenue intersection, $1,119,256 <br />from Optional Sales Tax, Account No. 31521441-066510-02033 and $14,100.00 from Utilities <br />Account No. 47123536-044699-13518, derived from the R & R fund in the operating budget, <br />which is derived from water and sewer revenues. <br />..... _ ...... . <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board (1) find that the improvements to the intersection at 12th <br />Street and 27th Avenue are necessary to accommodate growth in the county, and the such <br />growth will benefit from the improvements and (2) that the project be awarded to Timothy Rose <br />Contracting, Inc., in the amount of $1,525,216.32. Staff further requests the Board of County <br />Commissioners approve the attached sample agreement and authorize the Chairman to execute <br />said agreement after receipt and approval of the required Public Construction Bond and <br />certificate of insurance and after the County Attorney has approved the agreement as to form <br />and legal sufficiency. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
