Fitzgerald c6f= <br />Senior Planner, Long -Range Planning <br />DATE: May 29, 1991 <br />RE: DEAN VEGOSEN TRUSTEE FOR OSLO PLAZA ASSOCIATES REQUEST TO <br />AMEND THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND REZONE 4.83 ACRES <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at its regular <br />meeting of June 18, 1991. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />This is a request to amend the Comprehensive Plan and rezone <br />property. The subject property is located on the north side of <br />Oslo Road just west of the 27th Avenue/Oslo Road intersection and <br />is presently owned by Marie Simmons, Trustee. The request includes <br />4.83 acres of a 10.68 acre parcel. <br />The request includes changing the existing land use from L-2, Low - <br />Density Residential (up to 6 units/acre) to Commercial Node, and <br />rezoning the property from RM -6, Multiple -Family Residential <br />District (6 units/l acre) to CG, General Commercial District. This <br />request is an adjustment to the boundaries of the Oslo Road/27th <br />Avenue Commercial Node; it is not considered an expansion of the <br />node. The purpose of this request is to secure the necessary -land <br />use designation and zoning for future development of a retail <br />shopping center. <br />
