AUG BOOK 4 Ftq.GE C <br />IRC ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY MANUAL RE HOLIDAYS <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 8/8/91: <br />.................................................................. <br />To: James Chandler, Date: August 8, 1991 <br />County Administrator <br />From: Jack Price, Personnel Sub: Administrative <br />Policy Manual <br />. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . <br />Attached is the Administrative Policy Manual unit "HOLIDAYS" which <br />will appear in the Personnel Section of the manual. <br />The revision to the Holiday policy is designed to correct several <br />inequities,. particularly relative to part-time employees, those <br />whose weekly work schedule is not the typical Monday through <br />Friday, and those who work in areas not closed for most holidays <br />such as Solid Waste Disposal. This policy has been reviewed by <br />your staff, the Executive Aide to the Board of County Commissioners <br />and the County Attorney. Their suggestions have been incorporated. <br />The first holiday occurring under this revised policy will be Labor <br />Day, September 2. <br />Thanks for your assistance. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Administrative Policy Manual unit "HOLIDAYS", as <br />set out in the above staff recommendation. <br />26 <br />
