F_ <br />RECOtr MNDATION: <br />BOOK 8 f' GE P-405 <br />Staff recommends approval of the. FY -92 Hazardous Material Emergency <br />Planning Agreement and requests the Board of County Commissioners <br />authorize the Chairman to execute the appropriate documents to <br />secure the funding -of $12,292.00 as proposed. <br />Staff also recommends that the Board approve expenditure of the <br />funds from the Agreement with the necessary budget amendments to <br />make available the equipment identified earlier in this agenda <br />item. <br />Finally, staff requests the Board to waive bidding procedures and <br />approve purchase of the listed computer and record keeping <br />equipment from Computer Media Services, Vero Beach, Florida. In <br />order for the new equipment to conform to existing Emergency <br />Services equipment, it -is imperative that the hardware and software <br />be compatible with and interface with existing network, Quicksilver <br />File Server, etc. The provider of computer services for Emergency <br />Services is Computer Media Services. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously <br />approved the FY -92 Hazardous Material Emergency <br />Planning Agreement and authorized the Chairman to <br />execute the documents to secure the funding of <br />$12,292.00; approved expenditure of the funds from <br />the Agreement to make available the equipment listed <br />above; and waived bidding procedures and approved <br />the purchase of computer and record-keeping <br />equipment from Computer Media Services, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />SAID AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE.OFFICE OF <br />CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />APPROVAL OF INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR USE OF ST.
