M <br />EXHIBIT -"All <br />I. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />The study will contain the following elements: <br />1. Determine the annual number of tourists who visit Indian River <br />County, by: <br />- geographic origin; <br />- purpose of visit; and <br />- time of year. <br />Also include a detailing of their expenditures as to: <br />- lodging; <br />- restaurant /bar-, <br />- gifts/shopping; <br />- entertainment/ recreation; <br />- local travel; <br />side trips; and <br />miscellaneous. <br />2. Prepare a profile of activities these visitors engage in during their - <br />stay in Indian River County. Include the attractions, programs, <br />and types of events attended, including but not limited to:. <br />- athletic events, such as Dodgers Spring Training, high school <br />sports, bicycle races, golf tournaments, fishing tournaments. <br />- recreational activities such as golf, tennis, shuffleboard, . <br />hunting, fishing, swimming, boating, scuba diving. <br />- entertainment or cultural events such as theatre, musicals or <br />band performances, road shows, art shows, arts and crafts. <br />- other types of activities such as 14th & Bourbon, Summer <br />Fest, antique car show, boat show, shopping, business, <br />restaurants, visit friends. ` <br />3. The total number of annual tourists who stay in hotels/motels in <br />Indian River County by: <br />- geographic origin <br />- characteristics of party size <br />- length of stay <br />4. Determine the annual number of visitors not staying in hotels and <br />motels and indicate type of lodging used, e.g., camping, visiting <br />friends • or relatives, leases and rentals of less than six months, <br />etc. <br />5. Prepare a profile showing monthly variations in occupancy and <br />room rates, which profile shall also include a study of annual <br />hotel/motel capacity. <br />SES' - 1991 <br />93 <br />A <br />
