FF,_ <br />OCTA 1991 <br />�E <br />KINGSLAKE SUBDIVISION - SINGLE LIGHT <br />The Board reviewed memo from OMB Director Joe Baird dated <br />October 9, 1991: <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE October, 9, 1991 <br />; SUBJECT: KINGSL4JCE SUBDIVISION - SINGLE LIGHT <br />FROM: Joseph A. Baird <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Kingslake Homeowner's Association is requesting the installation of one (1) streetlight at <br />the entrance of the Kingslake Subdivsion (6100 N. 58th Avenue). A charge of $12.00 per <br />light per month is recommended. <br />v <br />RECOMMENDATION ; <br />;Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the request for a <br />streetlight, contingent upon completion of the following procedure: <br />L' Staff would bill Kingslake Homeowner's Association $144.00 in <br />advance for the cost of one streetlights for a full year. <br />_ 2. Staff would draft a standard single streetlight agreement between <br />.+, Kingslake Homeowner's Association and Indian River County. <br />:.:.• <br />3. Staff would add one light to the Master Streetlight Agreement <br />between Indian River County and Florida Power and Light. <br />.4. By approval of this agenda item, the Board would authorize the <br />Chairman to sign the agreement between Indian River County and <br />Kingslake Homeowner's Association. <br />County Attorney Vitunac commented that in the above -listed <br />procedure number 4, the Chairman will not be signing the agreement. <br />It will be signed by the County Administrator. <br />Commissioner Scurlock asked what is being done to consolidate <br />the various street lighting districts. <br />Administrator Chandler reported there have been several staff <br />meetings, and he has scheduled a meeting with Florida Power & Light <br />for next Friday. His intent is to report back to the Board within <br />three or four weeks with an overall recommendation because if there <br />is a change recommended,,we need to do so by January first. <br />42 <br />
