Resolution Authorizing the Execution of the <br />FIND GRANT AGREEMENT for Round Island Park <br />Improvements <br />DATE: October 8, 1991 FILE: find-rip.agn <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND) has requested <br />that the County accept a $130,000 Waterways Assistance <br />Project grant for Round Island Park river access <br />improvements. Scheduled improvements include construction'`! <br />of paved access road, parking, restroom building, additional , <br />boat ramp, and waterfront boardwalk with fishing docks. <br />The attached resolution authorizes acceptance of the grant <br />and grant, conditions; and execution of the FIND Project <br />-Agreement. <br />'•s„ : •r ` ; ;, <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />"'Staff recommend$ that the Chairman be authorized to-. .execute <br />,the attached resolution and the attached FIND ,Project <br />Agreement. :�;;�.{.: "::d+•. `'; <br />The County's $130,000 match for 'construction will" be <br />.funded from Florida Boating Improvement Program,.(FBIP) <br />*,unobligated funds available to Indian River County. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Commissioner Eggert being absent) adopted Resolution <br />91-159 approving the acceptance and execution of <br />Florida Inland Navigation District Waterways <br />Assistance Project Agreement No. IR -91-9, and <br />authorized the Chairman to execute the FIND Project <br />Agreement, as recommended by staff. <br />(AGREEMENT NOW RECEIVER AND; ON J'IiE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK TO <br />THE BOARD) <br />51 <br />c r 16 1991 <br />
