Chandler <br />County Administrator <br />GIFFORD PARK RENTAL <br />SUBJECT: <br />Randy* Dowling <br />FROM: Asst. to County Administrator <br />REFERENCES: <br />Mr. Ralph Lundy of the Mt. Zion AME Church, Inc, has requested to use <br />Gifford Park for the church's second annual carnival event to be held January <br />15-20, 1992. The Recreation. Department does not have a conflict with those <br />dates. <br />The event, similar to last year's event, will be open to the public and Is <br />expected to have about 100-200 people per day. The church will be contracting <br />with a major amusement company for approximately six children rides, ten adult <br />rides, and two large rides. The event will also have food, games, and <br />arts/crafts booths. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Gifford Park <br />recreation teams, Our Father's Table Soup Kitchen, and the Gifford Community <br />Center. <br />The Church, as the sponsor, has agreed to comply with all county requirements <br />-*as outlined below: <br />1) Proof of insurance for the amusement company and. the church. <br />2) County occupational license for -the amusement company. <br />15 <br />DEC U 3 1991 <br />
