Gentile, E.T. <br />Civil Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Public Hearing for the Paving & Drainage Improvements to <br />10th Court SW between 11th Street SW and 9th Street SW <br />DATE: November 18, 1991 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On November 5, 1991, the Board of County Commissioners adopted <br />Resolution No. 91-168 providing for certain paving and'$rainage <br />improvements to 10th Court SW between 11th Street SW and 9th Street <br />SW. <br />i.This was a Public Works Department initiated public improvement <br />,'assessment in cooperation with the Oslo Concerned Citizens League. <br />'Deeds are in the process of being prepared for additional right-of- <br />way for stormwater storage. A Stormwater Permit has been obtained <br />'from St. Johns River Water Management District. The additional <br />right-of-way needed is being obtained through negotiations. <br />On November 5, 1991, the Board of County Commissioners adopted <br />another Resolution 91-169 setting the date and time for a Public <br />Hearing to discuss the advisability, cost and amount of the <br />assessment against each property owner. This hearing is scheduled <br />for December 10, 1991. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners approve the <br />assessment roll, and confirming resolution with 'changes, if any, <br />made after input at the December 10, 1991, Public Hearing. Revised <br />confirming resolution and assessment roll will be forwarded to <br />Chairman of the Board for signature. The Assessment Roll and <br />assessment plat are on file with the Clerk to the Board of County <br />Commissioner's office. <br />The Chairman opened the.public hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, he closed <br />the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 91-182, confirming the assessment roll for <br />certain paving and drainage improvements to 10th Court <br />S.W. between 11th Street S.W. and 9th Street S.W. <br />19 <br />
