Physical Fitness Day - "School Community Walk" <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 12/16/91: <br />TO: James E. Chandler, <br />County Administrator <br />FROM: James W. Davis, P.E., <br />Public Works Directo <br />SUBJECT: Physical Fitness Day -"School Community Walk" <br />DATE: December 16, 1991 FILE: citrus.agn <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Citrus Elementary School is planning a "Physical Fitness <br />Day" Tuesday, March 3, 1992 to kick off Physical Fitness <br />Month. One of the activities is a School Community Walk <br />between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM along 4th Street between 27th <br />Avenue and 43rd Avenue. Parents, teachers, school resource <br />officers and senior Good Life members have offered to help. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends that the segment of 4th Street between 27th <br />Avenue and 43rd Avenue be closed from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on <br />Tuesday, March 3, 1992. Staff has no objection to this <br />request, provided that: <br />1) Proper barricades as permitted by the Traffic <br />Engineering Division are installed. <br />2) A representative be listed as a contact person in <br />charge of the event in case the road needs to be <br />opened. <br />3) Access to emergency vehicles be maintained. <br />1-1 <br />4 <br />
