F- <br />,� a� 4 1991 <br />BOOK F' <br />GE ,5 elt <br />12 <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, to approve the use of names for <br />streets in Rosewood Court Subdivision based on the <br />following points of uniqueness: the name "Rosewood" <br />is familiar to EMS and law enforcement; this is a <br />private subdivision with no through streets; there <br />was some confusion with the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission and some conflicting communication with <br />various departments of the County. <br />Under discussion, Commissioner Scurlock agreed the layout of <br />the streets is unique. <br />Commissioner Bowman stated we are setting a precedent for the <br />area when another property owner wants to develop a subdivision in <br />the same manner. <br />Chairman Eggert felt variances should be allowed because of <br />uniqueness of a situation, or we should re-examine our ordinance. <br />Commissioner Bowman agreed the ordinance should be reviewed. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPER DIRECTOR'S APPEAL OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING <br />COMMISSION'S DECISION TO ALLOW THE USE OF ROAD NAMES FOR THE <br />FLORIDA BAPTIST RETIREMENT CENTER <br />Planning Director Stan Boling commented from the following <br />memo dated January 6, 1992: <br />is <br />
