F_ <br />BOOK <br />every twenty (20) feet and attached to the fence or wall <br />shall display in large bold letters the following: "HIGH <br />VOLTAGE - DANGER"; <br />F. No equipment, mobile or immobile, which is not used in <br />direct support of the transmission or relay facility <br />shall be stored or parked on the site unless repairs to <br />the facility are being made (applies only on A-1 zoned <br />property); <br />G. No tower shall be permitted to encroach into or through <br />any established public or private airport approach plan <br />as provided in the airport height limitations. <br />H. Suitable protective anti -climb fencing and a landscape <br />planting screening shall be provided and maintained <br />mound the structure and accessory attachments. Where <br />the first fifty (50) feet of a tower is visible to the <br />public, the applicant shall provide one canopy .tree per <br />three thousand (31000) square feet of the designated fall <br />radius. the trees shall be planted in a pattern which <br />will obscure the base area of the tower, without <br />conflicting with the guy wires of the tower; <br />I. All towers shall submit a conceptual tower lighting plan. <br />Louvers or shields may be required as'necessary to keep <br />light from shining down on surrounding properties. <br />Strobe lights must be used unless prohibited by other <br />agencies; <br />J. The reviewing body shall consider the impact of the <br />proposed tower on residential subdivisions near the <br />project site; <br />R. All property owners within six hundred (600) feet of the <br />Property boundary shall receive written notice; <br />L. Applicants shall explain in writing why no other existing <br />tower facility could be used to meet the applicant's <br />transmitting/receiving needs. An application may be <br />denied if existing tower facilities can be used; <br />M. Towers shall be designed to accommodate multiple users; <br />N. A condition of approval for any tower application shall <br />be that the tower shall be available for other parties <br />and interests. This shall be acknowledged in a written <br />agreement between the applicant and the county, or a form <br />acceptable to the county, that will run with the land. <br />All specific land use criteria will be satisfied with the <br />condition recommended below. 'It should be noted that the FAA <br />has already issued a permit for the tower. <br />15. Surrounding Land Use and Zoning: <br />North: groves/A-1 <br />South: groves/A-1 <br />East: groves/A-1 <br />West: groves/A-2 <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Based on the analysis performed, staff recommends that the Board of <br />County Commissioners approve the special exception use with the <br />following condition: <br />1. that the applicant execute an agreement providing for multiple <br />users as identified in specific land use criterion "N", as <br />described in item 14 of this report. <br />62 <br />M <br />_I <br />
